Warren Neidich is presently visiting artist and research fellow at the center of Cognition, Computation and Culture at Goldsmiths College London. His art work has been exhibited internationally in such institutions as the Whitney Museum of Art (New York City), Palais de Tokyo (Paris), Ludwig Museum (Cologne), Los Angeles County Museum of Art (Los Angeles), the Walker Art Museum (Minneapolis/Minnesota) and the Center for Contemporary Art (Long Island City). Selected upcoming exhibitions in 2006 and 2007 include 'Protections' at Kunsthaus Graz. He is author of seven books including 'Blow-up: Photography, Cinema and the Brain', DAP, 2003. His recent publication, 'Earthling', an artists book consisting of photographs and installations, with an interview by Hans Ulrich Obrist and an essay by Barry Schwabsky was published in 2005 by Pointed Leaf Press (New York City). Neidich was research fellow in neurobiology at the California Institute of Technology in the laboratory of Nobel Proze recipient Roger Sperry investigating the relationship between the right and the left hemisphere of the brain. He is former Clinical Instructor in Ophthalmology, New York Eye and Ear Hospital New York City.
